Oakroom Restaurant at Oakwood Premier Joy-Nostalg Center

Oakroom goes “WORLD OF PIZZA” this month featuring pizza flavors unique to a particular region until August 28 only.

We started with cocktails before dinner. I had Cosmopolitan (Php 340.00) while Jim had Kamikaze (Php 220.00).

And while waiting for our food to arrive, we were given a basket of assorted bread and butter.

For dinner, we had pizza and pasta (sounds boring, I know, but mind you, both were really good).

Anyway, we like our pizzas spicy so we had Texas Pizza (Php 495.00), a combination of spicy BBQ pulled pork toppings mixed with pepperoni, mushrooms, red onions, tomato, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese.

And for pasta, we had Marinara Fettuccini (Php 440.00), pasta in tomato sauce and seafood. I should say, their Pasta Marinara is a must when you visit this restaurant.

... and ended our dinner with cold San Miguel Super Dry (Php 160.00)

Our total bill: Php 2265.12 (inclusive of Service Charge, VAT, and Local Tax)

Paris Delice at Makati Avenue

Paris Delice serves bread and pastries flown in directly from Paris.

The menu offers a variety of reasonably priced sweets and savory treats like chocolate beignet, chouquette, croissants, and quiche lorraine.

Late Night Munching at Borough

Borough serves an american comfort food in a loft style space at the ground floor of podium. Food was simply delicious. Best of all, this restaurant is open 24/7.

Here's what we had...

Cubano Corn, Php 100.00

Corn on the cob. Covered in cayenne pepper, parmesan cheese, and loads of butter.

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup, Php 260.00

Grilled cheese in homemade brioche bread. Served with creamy tomato soup.

Rothko Caesar Salad, Php 200.00

Egg Rothko on a bed of romaine lettuce and roasted tomatoes.

Chocolate Chicken Wings, Php 280.00

Wings coated in cocoa and cinnamon. Served with cilantro sour cream.

Of course, the night will never be complete without shots. Yes, this restaurant offers cocktails and drinks perfect for weekend hangout. The price list is quite reasonable. A bottle of local beer starts at Php 60.00 and Php 140.00 for imported beers. Shots like tequila rose will cost you Php 140.00 while scotch and whisky range from Php 145.00 up to Php 580.00

North Park is my go to place when I’m craving for some chinese food. They serve good food, not pretentious, and most of all – inexpensive.

001-Just Me

Booze Stop

Just want to share our experience at Booze Stop Bar and Grill last January.

Our total bill for the night was under 3K (Php 2661.00 to be exact) for a bottle of Bacardi, 12 bottles of Redhorse, and 8 different pulutan – Not Bad!

Oh and that night I wore a stylish gray short tube dress and my ever reliable flip flops. Hey if you’re planning to go to booze stop, never ever wear high heels or stiletto… otherwise you're overdressing. On the other hand, who cares if you think you're overdressing? As long as you feel comfortable :)
